Booker Prize 2024 Long List. This year’s judging panel is chaired. At 136 pages long, orbital is the second shortest booker winner, just behind penelope fitzgerald’s offshore, which won the 1979 prize.

Founded in 1969, the booker prize is open to novels originally written in english published in the u.k. The list includes three debut novels, six authors who have been on the booker longlist before, and the first native american author to be longlisted for the prize, which honors works.
